Khidki Tales began with a feeling carried from childhood. Holding my mother's finger, walking through narrow lanes filled with color: small shops, skilled hands, quiet pride, and warm smiles. Work was happening everywhere, yet much of it went unseen. Not because it lacked beauty, but because it lacked recognition.
At home, I watched hands cook, stitch, create, and care without being called work. A simple moment of appreciation could make someone feel lighter, seen, and valued. That feeling stayed with me.
Years later, I realized this was not just my story. Across India, artisans, homegrown creators, and small businesses create with heart, carrying generations of skill, yet their stories remain behind closed doors.
